A mix of electronic rock, darkwave, pop ballads and instrumental
tracks influenced by '80s and '90s synth rock, electronic dance
and the power of filmscore soundtracks.
Xaeja's debut album contains a wide variety of interesting and very
listenable music, so there's surely a track or two which will appeal
to all purveyors of the 'ambient' music genre.
Entirely programmed, recorded and mixed in a private 'home' studio,
this album is a great example of what can be done without having
to spend time (and money) in a commercial studio!
Some of the tracks on this album were recorded at the beginning
of the (then still very expensive) 'consumer' hard disk recording
era somewhere in the mid 1990s.
This album, therefore, is the culmination of several years of development
and exploration into arranging and recording, using the technology
that was available and affordable at the time.
Yes, it has been a very long journey, but
definitely worth the trip!
